    Cool YULE is amoung us,.

    Hailsa
we must remember how important ,family ,friends, and religious people of the same stock are to us.The high feast of Wotan is amoung us,the season of Yule is here. Before the christlings odin rode on slepnir & traveled town to town house to house, hence the name the wonderer sprang,he would ride with smoked boar,& bring fire wood to those who were needy, hence the yule log was created, the children would leave there boots outside with straw in them so when slepnir came it could eat in return alfather odin would leave lumps of sugar in the childrens boots,so truth be told odin was an early personification of the saint nicholis, this is a knowledge thread lets hear some of the great storys not taken from the book but as the ancients did by your word of mouth and by type.how good do you remember what we were taught?
    Bless

You seem to know what you are talking about, and I am new to all of this. I will be celebrating Yule for the firs time this year and am trying to gather all the information on it I can. I did not know this story and I love it! Is there a source or sources that could help me learn about these stories and traditions? If I hear of any stories like this in my search I will share them. Thank you for sharing yours. Have a good evening.
