Hi, I have recently found an old, broken african powder-horn. I want to convert it into a working drinking horn by cutting the end off it. however because it is 100 years old, covered in gunpowder residue and from africa I am worried that if i drink from it I will be sick or even get some sort of disease from it.
Therefore I was hoping someone might know of a way that I can coat the inside of the horn so it will be safe to drink from? Please help.
I was thinking that maybe I could coat the inside of the horn with some sort of adhesive plastic sheeting, to make absolutely sure that it is hygienic, would anyone know how to do this or what to use, for this?
any help at all will be much appreicated. THANKS.
