Quit smoking cigarettes (http://www.medquit.com) or you are into trouble. The dreadful effects are smoking are very well known to all but to quit smoking is not an easy task. It has some side effects too. But enduring the side –effects is indeed worthwhile. Else smoking might cost you your life. Quitting smoking causes some psychological changes in the smoker.

Stopping smoking causes mild depression or sadness. The unavailability of cigarette, which helped the smoker in times of stress, leads the smoker to feel depressed. He might feel anxious and the fear of facing life without tobacco might overwhelm him. The smoker feels lonely and bored. He becomes short tempered. The changes that are taking place in life could become stressful. Stress might lead to anger and irritability. The smoker might be subjected to frequent mood swings.

Ladies might find it particularly challenging to quit smoking due to clinical depression. Clinical depression is characterized by low mood accompanied by low self-esteem and a loss of interest and pleasure in normally enjoyable activities. Quitting smoking might be difficult in certain phases of the reproductive cycle of women.

In spite of the side-effects of quitting smoking, smoking cessation offers its long term and short term benefits. Smoking cessation immediately brings the blood pressure to its normal level. Oxygen level returns to normal and breathing becomes easier. Carbon monoxide levels in the lungs return to the safe limits. Nicotine leaves the body and the blood circulation improves. The risk of heart attacks is reduced to half the probability and the chances of lung cancer are also reduced.

Smoking kills. I lost my father to it and it's certainly a bad habit worth avoiding.

Yes I strongly agree! Any and everything that does not promote the betterment of your health, physical well being, spirituality and our eternal struggle must be eliminated immediately!!! If I had the POWER I would initiate necessary laws that would make us the strongest and best people possible. I'm not saying that we would be trapped oppressed people because having fun and enjoying the joys of life is parallel to annihilating the evils. HAIL VICTORY!!!! SC

Smoking is not good for health and has several of bad health effects on you. Smoking has ruin several of lives and these are bad for health so try to be away from all of these. it cause of heart and kidney failure for you and may cause to you at the end to death.
