Very good article.
For me it began as an interest, then became a belief in the gods, and finally a commitment to an Odinist way of life. I won't say I have left all of the "old ways" behind. But I am making progress. I cannot ever imagine abandoning the gods now I have woken to their existence.
It would be good if Einherjer would get in touch. If there are any members here PICK UP THE PHONE!!! Don't let my hard man profile scare you. :D

Liffrea, I have contacted 3 members of Einherier Hearth and asked them to get in touch with you. I can only assume that they are all on holiday or have other things to attend to at the moment.

Thanks WH. Guess I am getting a bit impatient. I would like to meet more Odinists in person.

I suppose that there's less of a chance that they'll turn out to be ding-bats in person than members of another, perhaps more well-known 'pagan' faith.
I wouldn't know, there's not too much of an 'Odinist' community of any sort down this way (and besides, I'm more inclined to solitary/very small ceremonies in any case).

Great article.
Commitment is something I hold in high esteem. However I believe that for some causes commitment only needs to go as far as achieving success (such as my school exams, I knew I did not need to study much and still get my grades). But in others, you need to go as far as you can, something that will arise from former success. And Odinism is one of those things, as success will take a very long time and very hard work from everyone of us. I can currently not undertake many commitments towards this, as I am not of full age yet, but I do what stands in my power, and spread knowledge of Odinism around my private circle (family and friends).
