Hello, my name is Darren.
I am currently discovering my religion, after realising I had Christianity rammed down my throat from an early age (no due to family, this was due to schooling and kindergarten in Germany), and realising that it is all based on lies and contradictions.

Not due to family I meant to say in my opening message.
And thank you Katia, I hope to learn alot from this forum.
Everything I know so far is due to reading Varg Vikernes articles on paganism and a bit of research on Valhalla, Loki and Heimdallr etc.

First of all, welcome aboard!
And Varg Vikernes stuff won't help you far.
While I absolutely love his music (some of the best BM there is, as simple as that; and he even makes neofolk listenable), his contributions to our faith are contradictionary:
While it should be held in high esteem that he desires to promote "pagan prosperity", his approach is doubtful to be productive on a long term basis. Even though it was wrong of Christians to burn our churches, and although many disadvantages have arisen through racial mixing - Burning down churches and using Nazi ideas in connection with Odinism hardly is what will get us a better reputation
