Brewing is a Constant, on-going process, here at HofBrau Kindred.
This is a Brewer's Hof. I bottled two 5 gal. batches of Ale, Wodensday.
I have 5 gal of Braggot clarifying, and another 10 gal. sweetening.
First of the week, I'm going to be brewing another batch of Brown Ale and another of Porter.
I have 18 cases of beer bottles, I like to keep full. I'd let a few get ahead of me.
I also have about 7 cases of champagne bottles I endeavor to keep filled with Mead & Braggot. I use champagne bottles because they seal with crown caps just like beer bottles.
BTW, is anyone using twist-off beer bottles, with crown caps, to bottle in?
I understand that if you use a bench-top capper, it'll work just fine.
Well, after I read a bit, I'm out of here to get ready for our Winternights Blot.
The kindred will be here this evening & there's a house to clean and a big pot of beef stew to cook up.
