Well...I was wonder what type of schooling other young people are getting?
I go to public school. There are a bunch of black people aand Christian who won't except you....and it realy sucks to not have REAL friends....

Charlie no need to fear I was a child when I started down path of the heathen, I know that oddness of no friends because of what you value and believe, even some so called friends even though they may like you still disrespect your Gods and or make jokes about such or think less of you because of it, heck I still go through this cause I am way to nice of a guy but keep in mind that many things in the current culture is causing more and more people to shake out the cobwebs in there ears and guess what they hear, they hear the Allfather saying its time to come home, you just got here way earlier than any one else it seems, no worries though that just means your one smarter of the folk ;)

High school is living hell.

Especially now because I'm getting put into a special day program for people with emotional issues.

I'm in a public high school.
Its about half White kids, but about 3/4s of them are wigger-guido jock types. They love coke, rap, ecstasy, and the mall. Gotta love it. :rolleyes:
The other fourth are either "gothic", emo, hippies, or crusty punk "anarchists".

The other half is a mix of Mexican wannabe gangsters that stab each other, blacks that pretend to be bloods and crips, and Asians. The Asians are actually ok, they stick to themselves.

I'd rather just go to a vocational school at this point.

Im a senior in a public school, it is no fun, i try not to really talk to many people except my few close friends that go there

I'm tween HS and college, I've been in both, It's jus monotonous, grooling, pointless teachery!! If anything needs to get done, you learn from the "streets" and grow and do!! No schools needed!! :rolleyes:

I understand your plight as well :P I am 17 and am a junior in high school. I attend a public school and have to find ways to cope. For instance I love to argue philosophy with our psyc 1010 teacher. You see due to my beliefs I am a behaviorist that believes that we are largely our ancestors and that part of them lives through this, where as he only believes what he sees up front on the surface of things, and personally a grumpy old man red in the face yelling at you that Odin has nothing to do with how I act in daily life alway makes me smile, on the inside of course... or else he might yell louder, please Jan Hall don't yell at me like that your scaring me... sorry I have flash backs of the last time that happened

I go to a Catholic school. I'm one of about 12 people at my school who are not Catholic or Christian. I have to take Theology Class in which I'm indoctrinated about how Christ died for my sins, and the Catholic Church is the right way to go. I had to watch a movie the other day about how the Old Testament happened. Literally. I mostly doodle runes in my notebook while my teacher plays movies, and I just ignore most of the crap he tries to push on me. I've been asked if I worship Satan numerous times, and I constantly get asked if I "really believe all that garbage". It's really hard not to lash out on people who act so intolerantly about my faith, but I just grit my teeth and explain to them what I believe and that I do really believe it. I'm a Senior, and I'll be 18 in 2 weeks. If you can make it through High School being true to your gods, then you've made it through the worst, I'm sure.

There was a Senior girl last year, who actually led me to Odinism when I began questioning Yahweh. She actually worships Loki, and we always argued about our religion, but we got along... It was nice to have someone to relate to, if not on a belief-related basis. She graduated and now, as far as I know, I'm the only person at my school not Christian or Atheist.

It's the catholic belief that Paganism is all devil-worship, he just "takes different forms" or whatever. Leave it up to the christians to create all encompassing dogma. Nothing says good religion like Absolutism.

I was actually looking for some more reading to do, Ive read most of the way through "The Rites of Odin" and "Runes" by Melville. The library here in Missoula, Montana doesn't have anything on the subject of the Norse Gods... And we have the largest library in Montana.

Im a junior in highschool. i really don't think any1 knows im pagan or cares lol. people always ask me if im a satanist though. because im very anti-christian supposedly. though i dont mind them much as long as they arent burning my temples, ploping churches in my holy medows, destroying any documents that have to do with my culture or persecuting my peoples. in my opinion they calmed down alot, now they're just rude lol!
but explain what i believe and we all go home happy. the only person who gives me a problem is my friend michelle haha but she's negative bout everything!
so i never really had problems at school. except with my freshmen p.e coach, who was a bible pusher. haha i started that battle though.
at my school there are alot of non-christians. so every1 could give a poop less, what u believe
