Anyone who wants a ton of self-defense and militatry manuals (recent), as well as CIA training manuals, email me at asatru88@gmail.com. I will gladly send you a zip file with all of it. I am highly trained as a result of these manuals. There is stuff on military close combat, street fighting, and various firearm, sniper, and CIA lockpicking, etc.... So, if you are interested, I have a huge collection of manuals (mostly eBooks).

How large is that zip-file?

Can you break it down at all? For instance I am quite interested in learning new street combat moves, but do not have much call for lock-picking!!

Sure, but the zip file is still goint to be huge, to big to email. So, if you have Instant Messrnger, which is free to download, I can send it to you that way, but I can't email it. But, I could post the filenames, and email some individially, but some are still to big to email.

I will announce it now, if you have Instant Messenger, I can send you the file, if not, it is free to download.. It is way to big to email. Even Gmail (google mail) has a ten meg limit.

If you have a download link, can you post it here or private message it to me? I've got messenger too, but i'm just about to head to work, so I don't have time right now to set up a transfer.
Thanks!!

Sorry, I don't have a download link, but I can try to get one.
UPDATE: I can't find free data storage online, so I can't get a download link :(.

You can contact me on AIM through my profile here. It's in there, if you can't find it for some reason, my screenname is Cmundi1229.

Can you use MSN Messenger, or does it have to be AOL?

I don't have msn, but I do have AIM. It is the only way I have of sending a file that big, unless I can get MSN. Is it free for download, or is it part of a package you have to buy?

No its free to download. You just go on Hotmail, create an e-mail account, and then download MSM. I have only just downloaded it myself, although I haven't used it.

I would never have a hotmail account. They are horrible for security and spam. I know, I specialize in data/network security. I use Gmail, the best one I have found ever. If anyone wants a free account with over 2 gigs of space, and I have a program that uses the space as an online harddrive, called Gmail drive, I have 49 invites left. It is invitation only, and it is by far, the best email account I have ever come across.

I would be interested in G-mail. Your right about hotmail, you do get a lot of junk.

PM me your email address, and I will send you an invite.

If I send you an invite, be sure to download Gmail Notifier, if you want to know when you have new mail without checking your mail. Also, google gmail drive. It is a good program. Sorry for getting off topic, but it really is still on topic, sort of. There is a natural progression in the thread :)

Thanks, Pinlighter. I will try to use it. Does it allow for multiple recipients?

You don't need a hotmail account to use MSN Messenger. You just register your existing email address.
Go here (https://accountservices.passport.net/reg.srf?id=956&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmessenger.msn.com%2Fdownload%2Fdow nloadx.aspx%2F%3Fmkt%3Den-gb&vv=30&sl=1&lc=2057)

I will configure my AIM client to accept dirct connections automatically. just Direct Connect to me, click on the Get File item on the "People" menu, and browse until you see the Manuals.zip file. Download it, and there you go. I am almost always on, unless there is a problem with my connection.

Dang... I thought I had gotten away from AIM. Well, if I must install it, I must. :D

Hrolf, you might want to get MSN messenger anyway. Many of us on here have regular group chats (although they usually end up less than serious and full of abuse).
All of the mods and admins and many of the members here have MSN.

I'll see what I can do. I have never used it, and don't know how to configure it.

It's pretty simple, simpler than AOL to my mind.
Once you have set it up pm me with your details.

I will set it up, when I get time, but it's not high on my list of priorities right now. I hope you understand.

Guys, I would also like a copy of this file.
I have a website with 1GB of storage, so Hrolf can drop in my FTP directory, and then you guys can download it.
I wouldn't want to leave it there forever, say a few weeks?
You can dump it in this folder:
ftp://part-time-projects.com/mail/
Just cut and paste that address into your browser, and you should be able to drag and drop the file in the directory.
Let me know if that works for you.

Please use this address:
ftp://anonymous%40part-time-projects.com@ftp.part-time-projects.com
Disregard the previous one.

Just leave it blank
Hengest

The forum is shortening the link so here it is in full. Just add ftp:// at the beginning and .com on the end.
anonymous%40part-time-projects.com@ftp.part-time-projects
I found that my FTP software needed a password but just clicking on the link enabled me to see that hrolf didn't actually upload the files.

Oh....so it would't let you in with the password left blank?

try logging into the FTP using IE, without a username or anything in the URL, it will either prompt you for a username/password, or you can right click and then click "log in" and put the anonymous username there.

Try the password as "anonymous." It worked for me :)

I am uploading the file now. It should be up in a few minutes. I apolologize for the delay. I have been away from the forums for a few days.
