There are a few types of mjollnir hammers and I was wondering if they had different values?

No, they all have the same meaning. They are just in different designs :)

There is one design that is Anglo-Saxon, so you could take that as being Thunor's rather than Thor's hammer. There is no evidence that the Anglo-Saxons had a name for it.

Where did you order your Mjlollnir pendant from? I currently wear an Icelandic Thor's hammer, and am very attached ot it in a literal sense. I only take it off to hang it from a tree during a thunderstorm.

I like the chunky pendants! :)

I think I might purchase the Wolf style hammer. I am a big fan of the Icelandic hammer, and would like to one day aquire a larger one than the one I currently wear.

I've never really liked the idea of wearing the Icelandic wolf hammer as it was only worn by Icelanders who followed the old ways but didn't want Christians to condem them for it, so when they were working their farms and anyone they knew who was a true christian came around they could easilly turn it the other way around and say it was a cross. I dont feel I need to hide the fact I am wearing Mjollnir or hide my beliefs by wearing a hammer like that. I would own one to keep in my house or on my altar as a reminder of the lenghts my ancestors had to go to keep their/our faith alive but I would rather wear a hammer that is more obvious and does not just look like an inverted cross.

Not saying you have to personally believe this but it is how I feel about the wolfs hammer. I am a fellow Icelander aswell. Welcome to Odinist.com :)

I think your confusing the Icelandic Dragon Hammer (http://www.ragweedforge.com/drag-ham.jpg) with the Wolf hammer (http://www.odin.org/th800.htm) from Wodanesdag Press... Two very different hammers...

I bought mine from the celtic attic, which also carries Norse designs. I paid for the $10 one, but instead recieved the $18 one. I was pleased. It is a hefty chunk of silver, to say the least, but not oversized.

Ah yeah you are right Lonnie, I typed in wolf hammer really meaning just the traditional "Icelandic hammer". I think its about time I go to sleep :D

Two very different hammers...No my friend. I currently wear an Icelandic Thor's hammer. I was simply stating that I might purchase the wolf's hammer. And I can easily tell the two apart. The Icelandic hammer has a style of it's own. Sorry for the confusion
