I was sent this by someone on that side of the fence.

It's not really clear, to me, that the VA has approved the pentacle as a gravemarker. I didn't see anything on the VA website or it's new releases confirming this.

If it's legit, great....next step, Thor's hammer.

Haven't you read my journals lately? I'm still going crazy. :) I'm just waiting for my craziness to stand out from the rest.

I don't really care what they put on my stone. Just as long as my draugr body can come back and make it's way to Bush's grave so I can **** on it then on to Osma's for more of the same. Otherwise, I'll be content with a family mound (if we start one) or cremation (wearing a symbol of faith so at least I'll have that).

UPDATE:

To say that I'm disgusted with those brass assbags within the VA would be a major understatment.

Upon talking with some pagans....as I understand it now, with some clairification (sp) it wasn't the VA who helped the family of Sgt Stewart, but the state of Nevada.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/03/AR2006070300968.html

I really, really can't adequately (sp) express my anger at the Fed for not coming to the aid of one their protectors. Seeing my brothers and sisters in arm daily endure what most of the brass asses in DC will never know......very aggrivating, and for them to drag their feet on a simple, but important thing as acknowledging the faith of one who stands to defend them.

*sigh*........but ours is not to ask who or why.......ours is merely to kill or die.

Soooooooooo........it's the not fricking US federal fricking government, but the State of Nevada who's come to acknowledge the right of military personel to have a pagan symbol on their gravestone.
