Is the j pronounced as y in Scandinavian tongues as it is in German?

I think most of the pronunciations are the same between Scandinavian languages and German.

Just us odd English folk with our J pronunciation then! I suppose thats the French influence.

I think most of the pronunciations are the same between Scandinavian languages and German.
the pronounciation of the vowels differs slightly, especially concerning o, u and å
