Heathens in London?

Greetings,

I'm just begining to discover my acient roots and educate myself about Heathenism/odinism and I would like to to meet up with any like minded people who live in London.

I feel this would provide me with an opportunity to discuss our culture and take my heathenism from the page and more fully into my life.

If anyones interested in a beer or two or knows of any groups etc then drop me an email.

Sorry its taken a while to get back about this...

Ive just moved into a flat in Brixton, that centre of English culture and tradition ( :confused: ).

I know the area all too well as I cover that area (and Peckham, Camberwell and all those other wonderful places) with my work (AA Patrol).

We used to have a monthly London discussion group but it was hard to arrange it around everyones work commitments. Maybe we should consider starting it again.

I think this would be a good idea!! You know I am also in the london area and eager to meet like minded people to learn from and be social with :)

A monthly meet up (?) sounds good to me. If anyone wants to mail me or post a message staing their interest then we could take it from there.

Id certainly love meet like minded people and start to feel that im part of a real community (especially when I live in Brixton! :D ).

Well we have arranged a meeting in London for the 28th July. I know a couple on this forum are coming. If anyone else is interested send me a PM.

The meeting is mainly for people to find out about the OR and ask questions, get to know some other Odinists etc.

We will likely conduct a blot too so that should be interesting for anyone who has never attended one.

I just wanted to say that we had our meeting in London and it was really good to meet two forum members, Heathen Soul and Rosebud. There were also representatives of Warrior Hearth OR, Sunna Rising Hearth OR and Hearth of the Wolf and Raven OR.

Hopefully we will get these meetings happening on a regular basis once again.

Im finally back on line at home so thought at take the opportunity to say...

The london moot was great and a good opportunity to meet some like minded folk. Its certainly gave me a boost to meet others on the same spiritual path and i look forward to meeting up again soon.
