I wish I could make it but im flat broke :( Washington is quite a ways away from me aswell. Hopefully next year will be a better year for me and ill have the money to be able to go and help Kathy out with the next ORV Summer Moot. I hope it goes well for all of my fellow Odinic Rite Vinland brothers and sisters!

I am in Fallon Nevada :) by the Naval Air station. The only draw back to the OR is that I am not even clsoe to anyone that is a member lol... Oh well I still like the group enough to join. :)

Hel, I don't know of any other OR members in North Dakota, yet I still joined up. :) Hopefully, that will change.

I'm seriously considering going to the moot this year... it's quite a drive from ND, but I'll think about it.

I would advise an email to Heimgest. He will advise who is in your area. It may be that once you have joined H will be able to say to others "yes we have a guy in your area" and point them in your direction.

Remember it is only a couple of years since the ORV was relaunched after it had to be completely reorganised and the deadwood and ne'er-do-wells kicked out.

The best way to help the OR to grow in your area is to get involved. Ask Heimgest what you can do to help. If you the first in your area you may be able to become a local contact etc.

Kathy may also be able to give you some advice.

Stuart, if you can go you really won't regret it. Donar's Hearth are the most wonderful people and it is sure to be a fantastic event.

A perfect chance to meet other members and there is nothing quite like holding a blot with OR brothers and sisters. Also holding a blot with Heimgest is pretty awesome.

Yup WH I allready emaild a whole back and confirmed that I am it in my area, but like I said it willnot stop me from joining, I like the people and the genreal vibe of its members.. count me in :)

The kids had a blast - especially when Chris took them out hiking and exploring the area! They are still talking about it...as well as how cool Chris is! :D

It is a real shame that a lot of people missed the initial announcement about this Moot and were unable to get time off etc once they realised. We will ensure that any further events are much better publicised.

Now......who's for the UK Great Moot on 19th November????
