Hello, Is it possible to load a picture in the signature section of my/a profile?

Does a person need webspace, or could a person upload it from MS picture manager?

www.photobucket.com is a good free picture host. When using a signature please dont use one that is too big in kb size and dimensions. If you have any problems let me know and I will help you out as best I can.

Its not bad, But it would be a little better quility, the bird on the lefts beak looks kinda odd because it doesnt have the red background behind it

Thanks very much, I do like mine better, a little bit for now, but I do like yours also. I think I can lighten them a bit with some editing. I wouldn't mind starting a library of ravens though if you wouldn't mind sending me that one or giving me a link

yeah I hear ya, the beak kind of gets lost.

There are tons of graphics in Google images under Odin, Thor, Asatru, etc.

No offence taken man, I was just offering another image. I think it would look good if you edit it a little more just so the Ravens were more visable.

If you need help hosting your signature let me know I would throw it up on my webspace. All you have to do is e-mail me the image you want to use. Photobucket is ok but sometimes the stuff crashes or its down for a few hours and gets annoying.

Not me. I wrote the owner of the Ravennorth Asatru forum (not the same as the one that the one guy who got banned wrote from) as I found it there. I said that I thought it might be copyrighted and asked permission.

Well, he seemed to be touched that I asked, instead of just swiping it, so he forwarded my email to the original artist. The artist, named Jeff, preferred I did not use it, as he used it originally for a CD I believe he produced.

But he asked me if he could do something for me or a new design! I just suggested reversing it, and I gave a link to this forum so he could see the colors, as I like the colors of this forum and now the new picture looks "branded" with the rest of the forum and I won't have any problems in the future, either.

I think I will see if their forum takes donations, it's the least I can do for an almost original piece. Hey, we are all brothers and sisters anyway really. It's good to keep trade or money flowing within the Kin if possible I believe

She just quick threw it together. But trust me, she could draw that wolf 100 times better. I currently have her on tattoo work. She's already drawn me one tattoo and hopefully some Odinic ones soon.

Edit: she made the emblem as well. The runes around the outside are 'HASO' which is OHG for hare. My last name is Haas, which is americanized form of Hase. So I looked up the OHG counterpart and had her put it into runes. And of course I had her put the FFF in the middle to tie it all together. If you looks close you can see a hare's silouette in the background of the emblem.

I am using Mozilla Firefox v1.05 I think, I have internet explorer and also netscape navigator v8.0, but use firefox about 95% of the time. netscape is not bad. IE, well............

In fact I am probably going to switch from Windows to Linux tomorrow or soon, I have to install a new cd/dvd drive on my HP first.

It's no hurry I dont really even have a design in mind other than including 2 ravens.

I asked my lady if she could throw together some other graphics. I asked her if she could make a wallpaper and a sig.

She has her own website (which I share) that HAD graphics on it. I keep urging her to put it back up, but who knows. I do know that, if she ever does decide to put a graphics site back up, I will make sure there is an Odinist graphics portion to it, so that they will be available to download.

Napoleon Hill is the auther of a book entitled, "Think and Grow Rich." I'm guessing most of you have heard about it. Not an odinist book per se, but very "odinist friendly," in my opinion of course. It talks about faith, persistence, desire, goal setting, making decisions, the powers of the mind, and so on

I don't think asking is buckling, Norsk Blod, I think you can honerably ask anybody just about anything, providing you're willing to take no for an answer. My opinion of course :)

anyway...Damonrunehammer, I think your art is very good, If you have time and want to make up a banner with two ravens and with a green background
it would be great, but only if you have the spare time and whoever asked you first, if you can't it is no problem.

I am planning on using Lissa's design primarily anyway, but I would like to have a few different designs for the sake of variety.

The only other thing was if you could take the name "Munnin (sp?)" and move it to the botton right hand corner so the writing is symmetrical, or center it under the ravens, whatever would look better, I'm not sure. It looks great though. Thank you very much.

Well, it's not racist, as alleged by modern "intellectuals," but rather the historical flag of the southern United States. It has nothing to do with slavery. However, some people interpret it that way, although I know they are wrong. But let me know and I'll go along with what you want, but with a bit of protest on this one.

The flag on the far right is the flag of Indiana, "The Hoosier State" How am I doing as far as size?

I know about the Flag but just as we use the Fylfot as a spiritual symbol even though most people recognize it as a "Nazi" emblem I dont see many people here using the fylfot too much. I just feel it would give the random person who does not know much about it the wrong idea about the forum, and more importantly you. It isnt a symbol of racism or hatred but many still use it as one. Im not saying dont use it, but be prepared to defend it if questioned, thats all :)

I used to find the confederate flag to be a racist symbol, but then I moved to the South, and it's everywhere here..on cars, homes, in State buildings like the courthouses and stuff.. Alot of people in the deep south view it as a symbol of their heritage..So now I don't mind it anymore..

May I ask what font you are using for the runes and from where it can be downloaded? Maybe you know of one as good as that one but with the younger futhark? Thanks in advance.

Liffrea yeah you would need Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop preferably.

I picked up my font at dafont.com. They have lots of rune fonts and almost anything else.
